By Bricco Posted on January 13th, 2016

The Midstate is home to top-notch entertainment options that are perfect for a night on the town with your favorite guy or gal. Before you see a show or attend a concert, you should fill yourself up with dinner and drinks at your favorite downtown restaurant.

Perfect for Date Night

Conveniently located in downtown Harrisburg, Bricco is easily accessible by theater patrons and concertgoers in the city, as well as those heading to nearby Hershey, York or Lancaster for a show. The restaurant offers happy hour specials every weeknight from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. that include half-price craft brews and $6 pours of select red and white wines. Sample oysters for $1 each, and enjoy small plates for just $3 before hitting your concert’s merchandise table.

If you’re hungry for a full dinner, Bricco can cater to a variety of tastes. Famous for our Tuscan and Mediterranean-inspired fare, we serve a full menu of unique dishes. Fill up on our famous braised short rib calzone pizza or sweet potato ravioli in brown butter. Big appetites will appreciate our 10-ounce pork chop or 8-ounch flat-iron steak. And all meals can be washed down with custom craft cocktails, such as our popular Limoncello de Bricco.

A Short Drive to Hershey

Don’t battle a crowd of tourists vying for dinner reservations in Hershey before a concert. Plan ahead and start date night on the right foot with dinner at Bricco before hopping on Interstate 83 and heading toward Hershey. The “sweetest place on earth” is also home to plenty of music and entertainment options.

Catch big name acts such as Jeff Foxworthy or Janet Jackson at the Giant Center and Demi Lovato or 5 Seconds of Summer at Hersheypark Stadium in 2016. The nearby Hershey Theatre has a full slate of shows including Kathy Griffin, the Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Lewis Black throughout the year.

Live It Up in Lancaster

Enjoy a filling meal at Bricco before making the trek to Lancaster Country to catch a show at the Chameleon Club or The Trust. If your show wraps up early, you can come home to Harrisburg and keep the night going — Bricco’s bar and restaurant stay open until 10 p.m.

Wherever your evening takes you for your next date night, Bricco is the ticket to making date night a success. We hope to see you before or after your next night out on the town!
